Lemon Juicers

A lemon juicer is used for extracting the juice from lemons, or other citrus plants. Lemon Juicers vary from other juicers as they are made to extract the juice from soft-centered citrus fruits rather than vegetables. They are designed with a conical ridged center, with methods to remove the pulp and seed depending on your choice.

Lemon juicers are typically electric, which requires much less effort than the manual counterparts. Keep in mind that lemon juicers are not blenders, as it extracts the juice from the pulp. There are three major types of lemon juicers: centrifugal juicers that use blades and a sieve to seperate the juice from the pulp. Masticating juicers that literally chew fruit to a pulp before sqeezing out its juice, and finally triturating juicers that have twin gears to first crush and then press the juice.

The benefits of juicing are astounding, fruits have powerful nutritional properties that can help people with many types of health problems. During the juicing process powerful phytochemicals and anti-oxidants are removed from the fruits in large quantities. These with the addition of vitamins can help fight off cancer, and reduce inflammation and pain.

Lemon juicers are not created alike, using a variety of materials such as aluminum, glass, acrylic, and even stainless steel. Determine the quality of the design that you'd like, and the amount of juice you'd like the container to hold. We highly recommend 34 ounces, which is a quart as that's the optimal amount of juice to achieve during a lemon juicing session.
